Message:
Abstract:

This article, compares "Belief in a saviour" with the old Phoenix epic (as Saviour) in the East (Iran) and links it with the modern epic of flying saucers (as Saviour) in the West (United states of America) through the concept of the collective unconscious of Jung and explains it based on old pattern of redemption. At first, we survey collective unconscious of Jung, meaning of epic, old patterns and instinct from Jung's point of view. Secondly, we study the history of the epic of Ancient Phoenix and its evolution in the East (Iran) and its relation with collective unconscious on the basis on anlytical psychology of Jung and finally, we ensure the link and commonalities between Ancient Phoenix and flying saucers and commonalities with the concept of collective unconscious. This all will lead us to the redemption issue that will be expressed in the form of believing in a Saviour.
