The Wonderful Features of Persian Verse Rhythms

Persian verse rhythms are unique in the world, both in terms of multiplicity ÇÇ as some say, the rhythms of Persian verse are several times as many as all poetic rhythms in European languages ÇÇ and variety, as it has rhythms with four ÇÇ syllable to 40-syllable lines as well as rhythms with equal and unequal lines. Through experience and during centunes, aesthetically unpleasant rhythms have been abandoned, but aesthetically pleasant ones have remained. It is also unique in terms of productivity, since poets are continuously increasing the number of these rhythms.
