The Seeker

Author(s):
Abstract:
The author's aim of presenting and explaining this story is that man has lost something and he knows the whereabouts. Another man, too, who has lost something but has forgotten it imitates others, is satisfied with this, and plays the role of somebody who has lost his camel. He blindly follows the same traces and he himself does not understand what he says. But because The Yar (God) loves this confusion so, idle trying is better than nothing, this light of searching can guide him to the Lord (haq). In this way, Mowlavi brings about a reconciliation among different religious ideas. But if man does not finally find what he has lost, he cannot get to his destination. During the story, of course, Mowlavi has other messages for the seekers of truth.
