Abstract:
This study aims at investigating Hedayat’s Three Drops of Blood on the basis of Foucault’s theory of power. To Foucault, all social thoughts and human knowledge have roots in power nexus. The seemingly humanitarian social institues seek to confine human beings and their individual, social and political freedom. The present study introduces first these approaches and then applies them to the structure and components of the above mentioned story.
