Explaining the Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Light of spiritual Leadership (Case Study: the Employees of IRIB Training Center)

The existence of committed and motivated human resources in organizations is critical for success and competing with other organizations. The current organizations ‎need professional employees ‎for achieving its goals successfully. Today, this type of behavior in management research is called organizational citizenship behavior. The different factors have an influence on creating these behaviors. In the present study these factors searched based on the characteristics of leaders and it is applied on the most important factors among it which is called spiritual leadership. Research has shown that leaders play an important role in the success of organizations and in this field spiritual leaders appear beyond the features. Regarding the role of spiritual leadership in the formation of organizational citizenship behavior, this research has studied the relationship between these two. The research is an applied one, Using correlation method. Among the population of 250 experts who work in the IRIB training center 148 persons were chosen randomly as samples. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. A causal model was implemented to test the provided conceptual model. Data analysis was conducted by frequency distribution, percentage, Spearman correlation test. Afterwards, all analyzes were carried out by SPSS and LISREL softwares. According to ‎the research findings, there are significant relationship between Spirituality leadership ‎and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (R= 0/582). ‎Finally the article has presented ‎solutions to improve the Citizenship Behavior situation in the Training Center and IRIBU.‎
