Contextual and Stylistic Analysis of "Selselat-ol-Arefin" and "Tazkerate-el-Sediqin"

Message:
Abstract:
The Islamic mysticism and gnosis is a high attitude that regards the universe and all its phenomena from a lofty point of view. Finally, as it reaches the high peak of intuition and revelation, it leads to unity and solidarity. Many have made efforts to realize this ambient flow and its prominent figures. Each has focused on this issue from a particular perspective. Regarding the magnitude of the topic, the achievements seem insufficient; therefore discovering any reliable and old work can be a light for clearing the path of the truth and the history of the Islamic mysticism. One of the works in this field is the book entitled "Selselat-ol-Arefin and Tazkerate-el-Sediqin" written by "Mowlana Mohammad-Ibn-Borhan-O-din Ibn-Khajeh-Mohammad Reza" known as "Mohammad Qazi". The book enjoys an eloquent prose combined with poetry and adorned with figures of speech, especially in the introduction and the prologue. The content deals with divine knowledge, the qualifications of a disciple and his master, the disturbance of the customary, and the stories of individuals leading a spiritual life. This article intends to briefly study the book's content, its chapters, its linguistic characteristics, literary values, etc.
