Prioritization Factors Influencing Job Motivation in Employees of a Military Center Using Analysis Hierarchy Process

The aim of this study was to identify factors affecting job motivation and Priority of them using Analytical Hireiarchy Process (AHP). This study is a descriptive - analytical and cross-sectional study that has done in 2012 in a military center. Total sample size consisted of 115 people. Data collection instruments included two questionnaires that were designed based on Herzberg motivation theory. Methods used for the prioritization, was Analytical Hierarchy Process Model (AHP). Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0, Expert Choice 11.0 software, descriptive tests including mean, standard deviation (SD) and the frequency and Analytical Test including T-Test. Findings showed that in prority of factors affecting job satisfaction, job security and suitable salary factors were in first to second priority with the importance coefficients of 0.29 and 0.20 and the factors of policy and communication were in the last priority with the importance coefficients of 0.02. The organization can provide secure platform for achieving the goals of the organization and the well performance of staff throgh providing job security and consideration the economic and livelihood problems of staff and payment of performance-based.
