Old context of Kish Island Analysis and Exhaustion in Order to Improvement and Modernization

Urban environments because of their dynamic and live nature always need modernization and renewal. Without modernization and improvement they cant last for long time. Exhaustion of urban context is a natural phenomenon and it is part of nature's philosophy. In this paper we examine and analyze urban context of Kish Island exhaustion and then offer best scientific and practical solution in order to improve and modernize them. Descriptive-analytical research methodology, data collection from field and library research (observation, taking pictures, interviews and questionnaire) are used. We used SPSS, GIS and AutoCAD software for analyses. Research results indicates that the urban context of Kish Island is exhausted and these results show significant relationship between lifetime of buildings and type of building materials, buildings lifetime and quality of them and type of building materials and the quality of buildings. From 3 housing and urban development to identification of exhausted contexts, variation (one hundred percent) and Permeability index (65 percent) are what we have seen. As a result, old context of Kish Island strongly needs modernization and renewal in order to live. If we pay attention in exhaustion intensity to maintain physical identity of district it is suggested to makemodernization and renewal done simultaneously and building that have historical and identical importance undergo improvement and buildings without this factor and totally exhausted and unstable undergo modernization undergo renewal and modernization.
