Surveying the effect of the intangible capitals on the firm's performance with the intermediary effect of the marketing capabilities (Case Study: Companies of Industrial Town of Semnan)

In today’s uncertain environment, Companies must continually offer solutions for dealing with global competition and quickly meet customer demands. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of intangible capital on marketing capabilities and firm's performance. In this regard, considering that the research population size is limited, using simple random sampling, questionnaires distributed among 143 companies in the industrial town of Semnan were examined. To examine the validity, confirmatory factor analysis and to investigate the hypothesis, covariance matrix analysis was used. Results reveal that human capital and information capital have a positive effect on marketing capabilities and thus improvement of marketing capabilities can improve a firm's performance. Another result of the research was an indirect effect of information capital of firm's functionality through intermediary variable of firm's marketing capabilities.
