Pathology of Religious Education in Universities from Student's Perspective

The main theme of the article is Pathology of religious education in universities from university student's point of view. The method of the research is descriptive survey using stratifies random sampling. Specific questions are put forward to analyze the effective elements in Pathology of religious education. 20 items questionnaire is distributed among 271 student statistical population. The average of existing situation among students is 3.093 and the average of ideal situation is 4.174 in favor of ideal situation. The calculated t of 32.92 with 270-freedom degree and correlation between the two items declares a significant fact and indicates correspondence between the current and ideal situation. The author of the research concludes the major results of the study as follow: correspondence between content of textbooks and requirements of young. Lack of accountability in fulfilling the present needs of the students. No increase in knowledge of university students. Not applicability of contents. Lack of fit in teaching methods and religious texts. Emphasis on memorization. Unfamiliarity of teachers with modern teaching methods and information technology.
