The Pathology of Regulations Related to the Rights of Computer Software Producers as Against International Laws

Supporting the rights of computer software producers, in our country, is included in the intellectual property rights. The patent laws also buttress the producer's rights. Apart from these, the approved Act to Support the Rights of Computer Software Producers, by the parliament, is deemed the referential law in this field. In spite of all the benefits these regulations offer, they have a few flaws as well. In fact, they are somewhat impotent to fully support the producers against the emergence of high techs in the field of computer software. These imperfections cause international software corporations to resist making proper ties with the domestic ones. In this paper, we have scrutinized the acts and regulations, regarding the rights of software producers and have mentioned the defects within them. We also have compared these flaws as against the international laws, and finally suggested some solutions to obviate them. To modify the law and ratify a comprehensive bill to support the rights of software producers, and to make grounds for a legal lucrative business in computer software through our country, the results of this study can serve helpful
