Rural ICT Role in Rural Social Development Case Study: Central district of Mashhad Township

The scholars believe that rural development is multidimensional Phenomenon and Social economic development is very important in rural areas. Informational and communicational technology (ICT) can promote social capital, social Participation, Social welpare and as a whole Social development. The hypothesis is as fallows: rural ICT has caused Social welfare and rural dwellers satisfaction. The methodology is descriptive and data gathering is documentary and field study. Total cases are 3876 rural households that is calculated using cochran formula 35q households as Samples. Completed questionnaires were analyzed by Spss and one Variabe Chi square test and the hypothesis was improved. The results show although ICT causes social welfare, satisfaction and save but it is necessary provide cultural- educational fields for rural People in order to social development.
