The Relation Between Spiritual Intelligence and Self-Control Among Students of Tehran and Shahid Beheshti Universities

The present paper aims at explaining the relationship between spiritual intelligence and self-control among students of Tehran and shahid beheshti universities. The method of the present research is descriptive correlation and statistical community is included students of Tehran and shahid beheshti universities in educational groups such as science, human sciences, technical and engineering which 374 students of shahid Beheshti University and 390 students of Tehran University are selected as samples in a stratified random method. Two standard questionnaires of professor tangy and Hassan abdollahzadeh on spiritual intelligence and self-control are used in the present survey. Validity of the above methods is measured as 0.906 and stability measured by cronbach alpha coefficient is 0.949. The results of the present research indicate that spiritual intelligence of 45% of samples is low and very low and just 16.8% of sample Students are high and very high in spiritual intelligence. The results of the study also show that self-control of 30.3% of sample students is low and very low and 26.5% of sample Students are in high and very high status. The author of the article concludes a significant relationship between self-control and spiritual intelligence of Tehran and shahid beheshti university students. The article also concludes a differentiation of spiritual intelligence among different educational groups of the two mentioned universities and no significant difference in their self-control.the paper also indicates a significant difference between two groups of mail and female students on self-control and spiritual intelligence. There is also a significant difference of average age of students on self-control.
