Different Aspects of Gender Separation of Student's Classes Plan in Universities and Strategies for Implementation

Regulation and confinement in human relationship- particularly men and women- has always been an important and common issue among revealed religions- especially Islam – and derived from social values in different societies all over the history. The present study aims to focus on different aspects and effects of separating students classes (girls and boys) in universities on their scientific progress, their future occupation fulfillment and developing their Islamic and social education. The method of the study is interview with 30 university professors and managers. Those who are opposed to the plan insist on Islamic education and training priority instead of imperative plans. They also refer to developing scientific growth in universities and acquisition of job skills (particularly women) and social skills of university students. On the other hand those who are supporting the mentioned plan believe that Islamic training and developing scientific approach among students is maintained through an Iranian- Islamic (non-mixed) plan. The authors of the survey suggest classification of opinions and a model theory codification including localizing universities, equal educational facilities allocation and rising consulting services.
