Messianic and Future Researches: Similarities and Differences

Messianic and future researches are considered as two research fields in Islamic society and are related together both in subject and application. The present survey attempts to explain the major similarities and differences of Messianic and future researches. The method of the study is comparative and science philosophy analysis and second degree studies are considered. The results of the survey indicate that the main common aspect of both research fields is their multicourse feature. In other words there are similarities between two research areas but on the whole some differences also exist. The main referring point in Messianic researches is absolute and unchangeable future which is mainly studied from the text perspective. While future research field is considering the probable futures. meanwhile there are important negotiations between two sides. The most important common aspect of the two fields is their related subject and also the rule of future research branch in putting the goals of Messianic researches into operation. The two study fields are different but there are some similarities in subject and ideal goals. The author of the article concludes that religious future research -based on religious principles and particularly Messianic thoughts – will develop the messianic ideas in modern word and help to put it into practice.
