Guide to Mental Health: Virtue Model in Action

Abstract:
The Most regular approach to the study of virtues and character strengths has presented in “virtue in action model” by Peterson and Seligman (2004). A comparative study of different cultures around the world and the study of psychological theories and different personalities and capabilities to achieve this virtue caused that this approach be more comprehensive. This model consists of six broad virtues and 24 character strengths which classified in the subgroup of virtues. Although Peterson and Seligman (2004) consider this model for using and training in society, but the application of this model is still in its infancy.
