Revising the Curriculum of Bachelor s Program in the Field of Library Science and Information Technology for Developing Entrepreneurial Attitude

Abstract:
This research is focused on identifying appropriate content for developing entrepreneurial attitudes in students of library and information science at bachelor level. A total number of 91students, business establishers with bachelor of library and information science (6 individuals); faculty members of library and information science departments (14 individuals) and Entrepreneurship College (6 individuals) formed the samples of this research. Research findings (based on questionnaires and interviews) revealed that: chosen courses of library science (except General Psychology) have no interest in fostering entrepreneurial attitudes of students, designing the basics of entrepreneurship in this filed for improving students entrepreneurial attitude is essential and finally experts considered the most important topics for inclusion in the curriculum of this course include: creativity, opportunity recognition, Team working, process of launching new businesses and challenges of active institutions in library science field.
