Stylistic Analysis of Abu Hayan Tohidi's Interestingness and Sociability

Fourth Century Hijra is the time of great literary men. Undoubtedly, Abu Hayan Tohidi is one of the well-known writers whose name has remained up to the present time. The present article is a study of his life and his book titled Interestingness and Sociability; this great book can be better read in terms of themes and style. Before studying Tohid's stylistic prose, in terms of structure and content, the evolution of prose, most important events and influential factors in the dominancy of prose over poetry in that period is taken into account. Thus, we become familiar with Abu Hayan's status in relation to prose. The reason for choosing this particular text is due to its stylistic and scientific value. In this book we can trace all the signs of Tohidi's literary works and his personality.
