Sociological Strategies to Reduce New Terrorism in Democratic Systems

The main issue of this article is about increasing new terrorism movements and domination of liberal democracy discourse in the global system, it leads to serious resistance from minority groups against universal narratives. Two controversial debates on the strategies to reduce terrorism have been proposed by sociologist:1. Emphasis on liberal democracy to provide security in international community.2. Democracy produces conflict and terrorism in the new society. Results of this study show new terrorism has challenged “majority democracy” and “universal narratives” in modern world that are the most important liberal democracy concepts. So, reduction of new terrorism requires strengthening “life world”, Spreading Pattern of "consultative democracy" and "communicative rationality" through increased participation of international organizations and civil institutions.
