Content Analysis of Iran's Cultural Policies on the basis of Constitution, Cultural Policies Document and Fifth Development Plan

In this article current cultural policies of Iran are evaluated by content analysis method on the base of constitution (principles about culture), cultural policies document of Islamic Republic of Iran (ratified of supreme Council of Cultural Revolution in 1371) and fifth development plan (chapter of culture). Content analysis proposal in form of eight variables and related topics is extracted from former studies and is used in content analysis of the selected texts. Results show that Iran's cultural policies have positive characteristics such as production of values and lofty concepts, confronting the global invading culture and considering cultural infrastructures. Problems and negative characteristics are: extent of culture concept, being general, state, ambiguous, and contradictory and lack of suitable priority.
