Reviewing the New Findings in the Field of Media and Family Studies

In the recent decades, although a fairly wide spreading studies have found out about the influence of media on family vicissitude, but these studies are chiefly based on classic theories in the field of media studies and we can not see an innovation or accessing to a new results. Regarding to the point that in our country the procedure of family’ vicissitude has had an excessive acceleration, the necessity and importance of observation the newer researches in this field has been enhanced. In this paper, we addressed to the results of four sociologists’ researches from four European countries and we tried to discuss about their viewpoints which are chiefly acquired from empirical and qualitative researches, a new window could be opened for the perception of mass media influence on the family's structure and vicissitude in both west and Iran.
