Pathology of Research and Development Organizational Departments

Research and development is an important department or teamwork in most of organizations. In the present paper after pointing out its importance in local and international level, key challenges which R & Ds are faced with, have presented. Then the appropriate solution, outsourcing, for these organizational units has discussed and explained. By careful investigation of R&Ds structures and in order to solve their problems, this paper has suggested new approach of outsourcing R&Ds to knowledge-based companies. Finally, a comprehensive model to guide the company's R&D outsourcing with systemic perspective has presented. This model can be used by public and private organizations, large and medium.
