Teaching aspects of scorpion in Persian literature and nations myths

Abstract:
The world of symbols and nations’ myths is a window on culmination of the scholars and cultures teaching. Today, the researchers have found the similar traits between humans and animals by study on the humans and animals particular behaviors. While, in the past the people investigated animals and humans behaviors and their relationship with nature and human by psychological aspect and understood animals’ life and their particular behaviors. Then, they entered their findings into stories, myths and legend for awareness and teaching of mankind though they had entertainment but they were also used for enlightenment. Certainly, by study on symbols and myths it can be understood progress or decline of the nations in different periods and seek the reason for why bee is symbol of craftsmanship and it appears more skillful and valuable than mankind in this affair and why crow and owl are symbols of bad omen and destruction for one nation and they are symbols of intelligence and wisdom for others. In this article, we tried to investigate on the position of scorpion in nations’ myths and Persian literature and refer to the similarities and differences.
