Future, Scenario Writing and Categorizing the Methods and Scenarios

The main purpose of this paper is to present a brief description of thinkers and expert's opinions and explanations of the concept of “Future's Study” and to obtain a general recognition and knowledge of this subject and the methods used in the study of the future. For this purpose a few of categorizing and classifying ways of these methods are reviewed and a way of applied comparison and evaluation of these methods in relation to each other is also introduced. Same approach is followed for the recognition of concept of scenario and classification of different types of scenarios, and while reviewing history of scenario writing and how it shaped and its origin, broad definitions are offered of this concept and a variety of categorizing scenarios are reviewed to get a better understanding of this method and its role in the Future's Study. During this paper it will become clear that most definitions of the scenario are not comprehensive enough and are short of giving a complete explanation of the subject, and hence trying to present a simple yet comprehensive definition and understanding of the concept.
