The effectiveness of group logo therapy on the increase of life expectancy in retired men of the retirement center of Mamasani

Abstract:
Background and Aims
One of the major events during aging is retirement, which can cause several problems. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of a therapeutic approach to increasing life expectancy of Retired Teachers of Mamasani.
Methods
In this study, a random sampling of 40 men retired from retirement center that pre-test scores were out of one standard deviation below mean have been selected and equally divided in two groups of experimental and control groups. The experimental group received 10 sessions of 90 minutes and a mean treatment group was administered once a week. After completing the training program, the post test was performed. Data were analyzed using multivariate ANOVA (MANOVA).
Results
The result showed that the mean treatment group increased life expectancy in the intervention group compared with the control group (p <0.05). After running the sessions, followed by an interval of one month treatment group demonstrated a significant beneficial sense.
Conclusion
it can be used of group therapy as an Independent manner or with other therapies to increase life expectancy.
