Aesthetics of Syntax or Syntax of Aesthetics

Humankind makes his world of devise by looking at the world through its words, sounds and syntactical structures. Arabic syntax which had cliché rules before Abdul Ghaher and the sound of the last part of the word was not considered important. Ghaher changed its perspective through his dynamic look towards syntax and the "science of syntax"; this way, creating literary masterpieces became dependent on syntax decoration not the use of metaphor nor simile. Aesthetics of the Arabic language and its syntactical structure similar to other arts is very much the influence of its environment. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method and regarding to Leibniz's definition of aesthetics, first the unity of aesthetics in syntax is discussed; this is followed by the plurality of aesthetics that brings a unique freedom of speech for the Arabic speaker. The result of this research shows that unless the spirit of syntax does not exist in sentences, supreme in the style of speech would not be possible. By creating organic unity among nominal classes, he has created such freshness and movement in pictures and structures to transfer the meaning to the heart.
