A Review of Hamas - Rcsistance Axis Relations After Developments in the Arab World

With the beginning of the crisis in Syria, Hamas Movement wich has always enjoyed Syrian goverument's Full support, gradually distanced from it transferring its offices from Damascus to Doha, while, Hamas leaders embarked on criticizing Syria and Hezbollah. This Paper aims to examine the reasons behind separation of Hamas from Resistance Axis. In addition, this study tries to investigate the factors that led to hamas divergence from Syrian government and Resistance Axis at the peak of the Syria crisis. It will also try to predict Hamas's political future. Results of this paper show that identical, Ideological and political otherness have been effective in the political behavior of Hamas leaders. Furthermore it shows that the fall of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the stabilization of the Syrian government, has made Hamas to return back to the Resistance Axis.
