The comparison of effects of selected combined training and current exercise on improvement of physical fitness levels in soldiers of Military Learning Centers Armed Forces

Background/
Aims
aimed of present study was to compare the effect of selected combined training and current exercise on improvement of physical fitness levels in soldiers of Military Learning Centers Armed Forces.
Methodology
for this purpose Forty healthy soldiers were randomly divided two experimental groups and underwent selected combined training (n= 20) and current exercise (n= 20); and in the two pre and post test were compared. In the during of term learning both groups participate in exercise for a period of 8 weeks, 3 session in each week, each session lasting 45 minutes. For statistical analysis used dependent and Independent-Samples t Test (α= 0/05).
Results
Results of this study showed that selected combined trainings induce significant improvement in cardiovascular fitness, scapula endurance, upper extremities endurance, flexibility, agility, speed, abdominal circumference, hip circumference, BMI, BFP, and weight (p=0/001) also current exercise trainings induce significant improvement in weight (p=0/046), abdominal circumference (p=0/042), BMI (p=0/036), BFP (p= 0/011), scapula endurance (p= 0/001), upper extremities endurance (p=0/015), agility (p= 0/022) and speed (p=0/023). Selected combined trainings rather than current exercise trainings have more effects on improvement of cardiovascular fitness (p=0/003), scapula endurance (p=0/001), upper extremities endurance (p=0/001), agility (p= 0/004) and power (p=0/001).
Conclusions
Selected combined training was more effective than current exercise program on improving physical fitness levels in soldiers.
