Models of Entering Politics in Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Borojerdi's Practical Methods in 60s and70s

In the explanation of clergymen and scholars’ behavior, two revolutionary and conservative methods are used. The present article is aimed at explaining the political leaders’ behavior and studying Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Borojerdi’s behaviors as two samples. Regarding the time conditions after 1963 and the need of a revolutionary model, Imam Khomeini applied revolutionary methods to expand the politics; while, Ayatollah Borojerdi applied conservative methods; however, both of which aimed at adapting the Islamic policy on Iran’s internal policy. Explaining the conservative model in Ayatollah Borojerdi’s method and mentioning his practical instances, this study tries to adapt his method with that of Imam Khomeini and conclude that the difference between these two resulted in one common goal and the element of time and theoretical viewpoint difference have been effective in their modes of action.
