Technology acceptance model with emphasis on the cultural conditions of Iran

Message:
Abstract:
When we talk about the advent of technologies in daily life of a particular country or society، the concept of technology transfer and the subsequent effects on life and morality of the people are often debatable. Although، technology has been always pleasant due to increasing welfare، accelerating work، and improving health and life expectancy، but it can be unfavorable to society and families owing to some of its unexpected and uncontrollable effects. Therefore، if technology enters a community without its culture-making and proper training in exploitation، it would be misused. In this paper، due to rapid progress of technology، growing need to information exchange with other societies، and cultural differences، an approach is presented to minimize the negative impacts of utilizing fresh technologies، and preserve and strengthen their positive effects. In this approach، a technology management organization based on modified technology acceptance model is proposed whose negative cultural effects will be changed to positive aspects.
