Identifying Urban Crisis Places by Emphasizing on the Unsecure Places with Using GIS: Considering 6, 7 Areas of Sannandaj as a case study

Unbridled increase in urban population and the incidence of marginalization, will leads to increases the tendency to materialism, deviations, heartlessness and the incidence of crime. People in urban areas did not know each other, the social control on their behaviors has gone, and due to this social abnormalities occur more in urban areas. In recent decades, Sanandaj has experienced the rapid growth of urbanization, and consequently a large number of areas have grown as marginalized and informal settlements around the city and in many cases, these areas provide contexts for the occurrence of crimes. In this study, we emphasized on the relationship between the incidence of crime and place, and then based on this, we tried to identify and analyze the crime centers in tow region of Sanandaj (6 and 7). First, we examine the physical, social and economic features of the city and identified crime prone areas over the regions 6 and 7. Then bye correlation analysis research method and using geographic information system, examined the relationship between location and incidence of criminal acts and the results expressed analytically and graphically. For mapping, important factor of each criterion was determined by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method and by incorporate this factors into the GIS the final crime map for the regions 6 and 7 was produced.
