Situational Prevention of Drug smuggling (focusing on Clark Techniques)

The present study seeks to elaborate on the situational prevention methods of drug smuggling. Limiting the opportunities of committing crime is expected to result from the implementation of the findings of the study. The drug experts, judges, and sheriffs of Kermanshah, were the statistical sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The findings demonstrated that the following opproaches should be adopted to have an effective situational prevention of drug smuggling:1.Not stimulating the criminal; 2-increasing the risk of committing crim; 3-limiting the expected advantages of drug smuggling; 4-increasing the effects required for committing crime; 5- Deleting the excuses leading the crime.
