Message:
Abstract:
The purpose of this article is a comparative study of the most important performance measurement models. In this paper five of the best performance measurement models including EFQM, BSC, Iranian Quality Award, Deming Model and Malcolm Baldrig Model have been evaluated against each other and have been compared and ranked with the fuzzy AHP method on the basis of the criteria taken from its related literature. These criteria have been confirmed by the experts in the field of performance measurement and quality management. The review of the foundation and philosophy of these models shows that Deming model is the base of all the others and presents the primary ideas in the development of those models, but the conclusion shows that according to those criteria the EFQM and BSC have better ranking than the other models. The BSC, meanwhile, is a little better from the point of view of the experts. The Malcolm Baldrig model and Iranian Quality model have near scores, and of course the Malcolm Baldrig has a better rank and finally Deming model has the least score.
