Message:
Abstract:
Lamazani dialect is the most popular dialect in the central district in Mehran county, which is located in the farnorthern area of BandarLengeh, in the southeast of Bastak and the west of Bandar Khamir. The people in Lamzan and thirteen neighboring villages are the speakers of this dialect. This study examines the phonetic and the morphological features of Lamzani dialect in comparison with the standard Persion language. This article examines and describes the vowelsby using minimal pairs and several morphological examples at the beginning, middle, or end of the word. The results of this study indicate that in addition to the differences in the diphthongs, unlike the standard Persian, which has six monophthongs, this dialect has eleven monophthongs that fall into the three categories: short, longs, and tense.
