Comparison of Resiliency and Self-efficacy between Athlete and Non-athlete Military Personnel

Nowadays, researchers improve that sport is one of the boosting methods in the growing psychologically factors. The Purpose of the present study is to comparing of Resilience and Self- efficacy in between athletes and non-athletes military personnel. Statistically, the population of study included all athlete employee at Baqiyatallah Medical University in 2014. 100 employee (50 non professional athletes and 50 amateur athletes) were selected in figure of ‌simple accidental sampling. In order to collect information, Resilience Conner and Davidson(2003) and sherer (1982) Self- efficacy scale were used and analyze and resolve data SPSS17 software and Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) for independent group were utilized. Results showed that there is meaningful different between non professional athletes and amateur athletes in the light of Resilience and self efficacy (p<0/005). In other word, this changeable in non professional athletes was higher than amateur athletes. Present study revealed that sport and regular exercise can impress on various aspects of personality and psychological like Resilience and Self efficacy.
