Content Analysis of the Student's Mobile Phone SMS in Astara and Talesh Universities

The increasing use of mobile phone, considering the facilities that are available to service it, has changed interpersonal relationships in the contemporary society. The functions of this modern communication tool include easiness, inexpensiveness, power of sending a same message to a lot of people and facilitations of relations between the sexes. In the present article, the content of the 2975 SMS in inbox and outbox text messages and other data stored in the drafts on any other phone tools collected from the phones of the students of the Astara and Talesh universities are analyzed. We used Chi-Square significance test for data analyzing. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between gender of SMS sender and receiver of SMS with the structure of SMS, content of SMS with time receiving and sending, the SMS sender and receiver gender with the time of Sending and receiving SMS. Students also take benefit from the phone draft as a notepad .
