Assessment of Vulnerabilities and Blocking Streets after theearthquake (Case Study: Police Centers of Kerman City)
Despiteachievement to greattechnologyinpast centuries, earthquakesare still unbridled. When an earthquakeoccurs, thecity will beaffected. In other words,not only different pants of city will be affectedby earthquakeand its otherresult but also other elements of city will be affected in systematic reciprocal function. Oneof the most elementsisstreet networks which will be blocked because of their length and widthand also after earthquake.they may interfere in emergency evacuation and relief activities. So in this project, it will be presented one model for assessment of damages and vulnerabilities of streets.Also according to the position of police centers, each center will have gained the longitudinal and transverse obstruction.The method of this project is based on analytical anddescriptive method and according to its aim it is practical. The target population are includes all major and minor streets of KermanIn order to obtainthe appropriateroutes, GISmapsofthe city of Kerman is applied.After doing thenecessary studiesand obtaining results, thelongitudinal and transverse Obstructionof the anypolice stations inthe city of Kermanhas beenidentified and their effectiveness was determined after an earthquake.The results indicate that the block length and cross each station in each region is different. Some centers are clogging up for this purpose can bring relief disorders.
