Organizational Preparation for Successful Implementation of Technology Development Strategies

Competition and maintaining the competitive position in the current complex market situation, require the selection of an appropriate strategy to advance the goals and knowledge of the capabilities and capacities within the organization. Evaluation of Organizational Preparation is a good approach toreconnoiter the current level of organization’s capabilities in order to design and implement strategies. Technology and technology development strategies are important factors for promoting organization goals. To implement the technology development strategies successfully, being aware of the organization’s internal capabilities helps the managers to notice technology development opportunities more, and lead the organization to the growth direction and achieving competitive advantage. This research is descriptive – analytical and functional if we consider its aim. Data collection was done by reviewing existed literature, interviews with experts and scholars and questionnaires. Then data were analyzed through interpretive – structural modeling(ISM) technique and DEMATEL then the relation and sequence of dimensions and criteria were obtained. Finally the Integrated Model of ISM- DEMATEL was extracted.
