The Extraction of Ethics of Technology from Martin Heidegger's Thought and Action

Abstract:
Martin Heidegger is one of the first philosophers who have deeply discussed the issue of technology however, he has been accused that not only does not he propose any clear solutions to appropriately deal with this phenomenon of modernity but he has only studied it phenomenologically and irresponsibly. Now, the Question is: Can we extract a practical solution out of Heideggers thought and way of living for a better dealing with technology? And if the answer is yes, what are the components of the solution? In the following paper, through examining some of Heideggers most important works in which he has been concerned with technology, as well as having a look at his life and his personal way of dealing with modern technology we have come to two
Conclusions
firstly, the German thinker has presented many value-judgmental views both about the totality of technology and about some of its special types, and accordingly its quite possible for us to extract some dos and donts from his intellectual system. Secondly, based on evidences, there are mentioned some of the most important components of his ethics of technology which either he has obviously emphasized or they can be extracted from his speech and actions.Keywords:
