The social capital of Iran's police among ethnicities, social classes and religion followers

the awareness of social capital from the viewpoint of different social classes in considered one of the requirements in planning, the current research aims to examine the social capital of Iran’s disciplinary force from the view point of minorities, and other religious sectors in the city of Tehran.
The research is descriptive-survey, practical and cross-sectional in which the data has been gathered using survey method. The data were gathered using a researcher-made questionnaire; the content validly was confirmed by experienced teachers and the reliability of the research tools by the Cronbach's alpha test was found to be appropriate (0.889).The statistical population consists of all the citizens of above 18 years old residing in Tehran. The statistical sample is 1536 individual selected by multi-stage cluster sampling technique based on the four districts of Tehran including districts north, south, east, and west. The gathered data were analyzed by SPSS software after coding them. The social capital of Iran’s disciplinary force organization was examined based on the theoretical framework of the study and using four indexes (including trust in Iranian police, taking advantage of the police service, contact and cooperation with Iranian police).
Iran’s police force is performing its duties with the same social capital in all the social levels. The social capital of the singles is lower than the married ones, Iran’s police must make an effort to win the confidence of the singles by improving the process and increasing cooperation.
