Survey of Relationship Between Encounter with Security Personnel and Social Support with Robbery Perpetration among youth in Yasouj

Context and Robbery is one of the ever-committing crimes in different societies in its various forms. In this idea, purpose of this research is survey of relationship between security personnel and social support with robbery perpetration among youth in Yasouj.
Research A causal-comparative methodology was employed to study 240 young in Yasouj, , 120 of whom were imprisoned for at the time and the other half never committed theft or were imprisoned. Theories of Gidden's ontological security and prevention doctorine have been used as theory framework of research. A research-made questionnaire have been assigned as the research instrument. To validate the questionnaire we used face validity and construct validity with using factor analysis and to establish its reliability we used internal consistency with using Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive statistics (frequency, percent, and mean) and referential statistics (logistic regression) were used to analyze this data.
Findings: Research findings showed that Mean of Encounter with Security Personnel score among normal people is 34.8 and among robbery perpetrators is 29.6. Also mean of Social Support score among normal people is 70.6 but among robbery perpetrators is 56.3.
Results showed that there is significant relationship between probability of encounter with security personnel, social support with robbery perpetration.
