The Place and Role of Citizens on the Scope of Governmental Man-agement

Governmental Management should support efforts that will lead to the development of democracy. These efforts should be directed toward the development of civil society and citizen participation and emphasize the values of democracy. When democracy was developed, governmental managers have new roles to play in front of people diagnosed and addressed. They as a manager need to know citizens as their counterparts and to forget superior and subordinate hierarchical relation. Governmen-tal managers must understand their citizen's demands and seek to fin so-lution to respond them. In the future, governmental managers must find a citizen-centric view point and replace cooperation instead of hierar-chical traditional attitudes.
