Meta-analysis of studies and research of social capital and sense of social security

alot of research about the relationship between social capital and social security among various groups based on different methods have been done. Therefore, the aim of the present study is using Meta-analysis for analyzing the results of studies about the relationship between social capital and a sense of social security.
In order to present meta-analysis, 29 done research between the years of 1390-94 about the relationship between social capital and sense of social security which have been published in scientific journals, were selected to assess. Selected research have been carried out with survey method and by using the questionnaire in different statistical population and based on reliable scales. In the first step of the research assessment, assumptions of homogeneity and publication bias were examined: according to this, results indicate the heterogeneity of effect sizes and lack of publication bias of examined Studies. In the second step, Coefficient of effect size and moderating role of gender variable were evaluated by using the second version of the CMA software.
Findings: The Findings showed that the effect size or impact of social capital on the sense of social security is equivalent to 0/51. This coefficient is evaluated at upper level based on Cohen interpretation system. Also, by considering gender as a moderating variable, this Coefficient for men (0/52) were assessed higher than women (0/40).
In conclusion, the results showed that social capital affects the sense of social security, although this rate is higher among men than women. Breadth of relationships and social interactions wider network of men Underlies to achieve a variety of social support from the link in the network of relationships that the result is more sense of security for men.
