Investigating the Effective Social-Cultural Factors on Ardabil Citizens' Illegality
Illegality refers to ignoring the law in reaching the objectives and using unconventional and illegal methods in society. The main objective of this study was to investigate the social-culture factors affecting citizens' illegality in Ardabil province.
This study has been conducted in survey (quantitative) method. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured by Cronbach alpha and its validity was confirmed by the experts. The sample size was set as 1450 individuals using Morgan sample size table. The results of inferential statistics indicate that there was a significant relationship between the awareness of law, social exclusion, traditionalism, individualism, class inequality, socialization, social control, poor citizenship ethics, poor social status of law, poor law enforcement and poor performance of judicial institutions and the illegality of citizens and the cultural poverty had no significant relationship. The results of multiple regression showed that the highest coefficient of determination of illegality was for the independent variable of the poor social status of law, and the least coefficient of determination was for class inequality.
