Decision-Support System-Based Crisis Management
Considering that crisis management addresses the issues of recognition and prevention of crisis, the crises consequences control, dealing with crisis and reducing the level of vulnerability, and the fact that the fundamental problem in the field of crisis management concerns the lack of efficient coordination and cooperation between organizations involved and the optimum use of available facilities this study has been conducted with the aim of "clarifying the role of decision support systems in crisis management".
Taking the effective measures in the area of crisis management into account, this study has been conducted using descriptive research method and inferential statistics in a statistical population of 100. Findings and
The results indicate that the decision-support system-based crisis management can play a role in the following: preventing, monitoring and responding to the crisis by creating favorable synergies with other agencies and organizations, promoting methods of crisis management and how to control and reduce stress in times of crisis, providing comprehensive database, mining topography maps and analyzing them, helping in decision-making and decision-taking, using network news and media for notifications, making a report on the status of the areas covered, integrating data with experience and applying it in practice, and also using the power of software and hardware.
