A Multifactorial Approach to Illegality
Compliance with the law and legality in society represents order and security and leads to the stability of the system. In any society some factors would lead people to resist against the implementation of some rules and act illegal activities. The main objective of this study was to determine the factors affecting the illegality through meta-analysis of research conducted in Iran.
This study has been conducted in a qualitative, meta-analysis, method. Unlike quantitative research, in qualitative research analysis is not done through numbers or numerical correlations, but research objectives are analyzed using descriptive classification. Accordingly, the present study is conducted using meta-analysis wherein a review of the literature in the field of illegality is presented. The review will be of a consolidation type. The results showed that several factors would lead to illegality in the country. Legal factors such as the weakness of the rules, lack of updated laws, weak legislative rules, authorities and law enforcers dealing with law breaking, and ignorance of the law would lead to deviation. And also social factors such as social unrest, and cultural factors such as education, religious beliefs and the media, economic factors such as economic inequality and uneven development, and political factors such as the weakness of regulatory bodies and other factors related to the political system, political brokers had an impact on illegality.
