Identifing shotcomings and providing Conceptual Model for Production Chain of Telefilms according to VRM

Television Movies or Telefilms are a program type which in IRIB’s communication system has been the focus of attention of managers.The lack of an effective model for mass production of such programs has made an impressive quality slump in telefilm production and distribution cycle. This study aims to offer a conceptual model for studing, identifying the shortcoming and trying to improve it through pathological examination in telefilm production chain in IRIB.Researches by the wide extensive scientific and comparative study have used Value Chain Reference as one of the newest and most comprehensive model of value chain frameworks for studying and adopting by processes of telefilm production chain. The most roots of couses of problems in production chain are identied by using AHP. The identified roots showed that despite the shortcamings detected in the main process of Telefilm production, the most important root related to strategic level, namely governance and planning issue that support the main process. Once most important items were identified, by the utilization of input/ output of model, desireable situation in terms of process structure for improving has been designed, completed and suggested.
