Relationship between self-regulated learning and responsibility with academic burnout among high school students in east of Golestan province

The aim of this research was study of relationship between self-regulated learning and responsibility with academic burnout among fe-male high school students in east of Golestan province. For this aim¡ 295 students of female high schools in east of Golestan province were select-ed by cluster sampling and completed the demographic data sheet¡ Pin-trich and De Grout (1990) self regulated learning questionnaire¡ respon-sibility subscale of California Personality Inventory (CPI) and Berso (1983) academic burnout questionnaire and data were analyzed by SPSS software. Results showed that there are significant relationship between self-regulated learning and academic burnout. There were significant relationship responsibility and academic burnout. There were significant relationship between self-regulated learning and responsibility. Results of regression analysis showed that test anxity and self-regulation dimen-tion of self-regulted learning predict academic burnout and explanated 53 percent of academic burnout. Also¡ responsibility predicted academic burnout and explanate 16 percent of variance. So¡ we can decrease aca-demic burnout with self-regulated learning and responsibility instruction.
