The comparison of moral development, altruism and social self-efficacy in gifted and normal female high schools in Urmia

Abstract:
This study was aimed at comaring moral development, altruism and social self-efficacy in gifted and normal female high school in urmia. The statistical population of this research was 14180 normal female high school student and 523 gifted female high school students in 2011-2012. 385 normal &225 gifted students were selected as the statistical samples through the multi stage random sampling method. The instruments included the moral judgment MA questionnaire and Connolly's adolescent social self-efficacy scale. Data analyzed by independent t-test. The results showed: there was significant difference between gifted and normal students in moral development, altruism and social self-efficacy (in all 5subscales relate to social self-efficacy).
