Spatial Analysis of Tourism Capacities of Mazandaran Province

Province of Mazandaran has natural, historical and cultural capacities to develop the tourism industry. Such capacities and capabilities were usable and utilizable when are appropriate with those essential planning in order to create necessary installations and infrastructure. So, this study with the purpose of analyzing the Spatial Analysis of Tourism Capacities of the Cities of Mazandaran Province has been done. So, this study with the purpose of analyzing the Spatial Analysis of Tourism Capacities of Cities of Mazandaran Province has been done.In this direction, Tourism Capacities of Cities of Mazandaran Province based on criterions and indexes obtained by Delphi Method are determined and applying Multi- Criterion Decision Making Methods(MCDM) like Simple Analytic Hierarchy Process (SAHP), Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS)and Elimination et Choice Translating RealityELECTRE were evaluated, then, in order to reach a common accord, Average Rating Method for the final assessment was used. The results indicate that cities of Amol have allocated themselves first rank and Galogah last rank from the viewpoint of having the Tourism Capacities of Cities of Mazandaran Province and in most domains of the province, distribution of necessary installation and infrastructures for tourism are not appropriate and also are not harmonious with natural, historical and cultural capacities.
